Sustainable Workforce
A sustainable transformation calls not only for new goals, processes and technology, but above all for people who understand the change and can put it into practice. Behavioral change and breaking existing patterns play an important role in this.
A clear direction helps. Where do we want to go, why does it matter and what does it mean for employees and their daily work? By involving people early, building knowledge and making responsibilities clear, room is created for new behavior and new ways of working.
Firm of the Future has experienced transition managers who combine knowledge of sustainability, organizational change and behavior. We guide the entire transition process or provide support exactly where extra knowledge and capacity are needed.
This is how, step by step, we make sustainability part of the organization and of everyday actions.
How would Nature's Intelligence solve this?
Nature has many forms of structure, collaboration and leadership. Organisms and ecosystems constantly adapt to their environment, make use of the knowledge and opportunities available to them and use energy and resources efficiently.
These natural principles inspire organizational change. No two organizations are the same, and not every change calls for the same approach. That is why we look at the characteristics of the organization, its people, its environment and the task at hand.
Based on Nature’s Intelligence, we determine which natural principles and change methods fit best. This way we build on what is already there and create a change process that suits the natural dynamics of the organization.
Change inspired by Nature
Behavioral change: the Animal Model
The Animal Model makes behavior, collaboration and resistance to change easy to recognize and discuss. Looking at behavior, group processes and collaboration in nature reveals surprising parallels with the way people work in teams and organizations.
The comparison with animals creates distance and makes it easier to look at your own behavior and that of a team. This gives insight into different behavioral patterns and into what is needed to get collaboration and change moving.

Organizational Design and Sustainable Culture Programs
A resilient organization: the FPO model
A future-proof organization is sustainable, innovative, resilient and agile. People are central, and collaboration within the organization and the chain plays an important role.
With our Future Proof Organization model (FPO model), we map where your organization stands on nine areas and where there are opportunities for further development. The outcome is a gap analysis that shows strengths, points for attention and priorities.
Is your organization in balance? Are investment decisions based on added value and the customer perspective? Where is extra attention needed, and where can you create room? The FPO model helps you use time and resources in a targeted way and work step by step towards a sustainable, resilient and agile organization.
View our brochure (in Dutch) for more information about the FPO model.

Design and implement Change Behavior Programs
Sustainable behavioral change is a long-term task. People need to understand why change is needed, know what is expected of them and experience that new behavior is possible in practice. Encouraging, motivating, connecting and setting a good example all play an important role.
We work in three steps. First, we increase knowledge and insight and provide clear frameworks and direction. Next, connecting is central: change gains strength when people move together and learn from each other. Finally, we anchor it in practice, so that sustainable and socially responsible behavior becomes part of everyday work.
We keep change clear and practical. We listen to signals and resistance, explore what lies behind them and determine what is needed to bring people along.
Behavior also changes along with new knowledge and social developments. That is why we keep learning, evaluating and adjusting. This way, sustainable behavior gradually becomes part of the organizational culture.

Strategic Sustainable Leadership Programs
Leadership: giving direction, trusting and facilitating
Sustainable, resilient organizations need leaders who give direction while creating room for people to take responsibility. Leadership is increasingly about trust, connecting, coaching and facilitating.
Social, technological and economic developments follow each other rapidly and are not always predictable. That calls for leaders who can deal with uncertainty, connect different perspectives and recognize opportunities. Not knowing or deciding everything themselves, but bringing the right knowledge and people together and providing clear frameworks.
Trust and collaboration are an important foundation. Teams that are given room to learn, experiment and act within clear frameworks can adapt more quickly to changing circumstances.
Firm of the Future helps leaders and organizations develop this form of Future Leadership and put it into everyday practice.

Wellbeing and Inclusion Programs
Wellbeing and inclusion as the basis for a strong organization
Wellbeing is about more than health and vitality. Connection, mental resilience, meaning and job satisfaction also play an important role – especially in organizations where different generations, backgrounds and perspectives come together.
Firm of the Future has developed a programme centred on physical, emotional and mental strength. We help employees and teams understand what contributes to their wellbeing and how they can influence it, both individually and together.
Inclusion means that people feel respected, heard and part of the organization. Differences are welcome, and different perspectives can actually lead to better collaboration and new insights.
Our programmes connect wellbeing and inclusion and help organizations build a working environment in which people enjoy working together, can develop and remain employable in the long term.
